Very detailed & low pressure.

They did my tires, rims. Balance. I even dropped my truck off and they took me to work there in town. Above and beyond and everyone very friendly and helpful. Will give my business to them anytime!

Took by 10 year Tundra in for an oil change and tire rotation. Everything went GREAT and they fixed a puncture in one of my tires. Also had front blinker issues which the cleaned the corrosion from the terminals and got them working fine again. Upon checking out they reminded me that I had awards built up which saved me some $$$ in the long run. My Tumdra runs great again and purrs like a lion!!!!!

I recently purchased a used 2015 VW Beetle, which unfortunately had significant engine issues. After researching local garages, I chose Bernhard Auto Works due to their excellent reviews. From my very first call with Clint, I had a positive experience. He thoroughly explained their evaluation process and provided an estimated timeline for when I could expect to hear back. Once the evaluation was complete, Clint reached out to discuss various repair options and we collaboratively agreed on the critical repairs needed. I appreciated the transparency throughout the process, as Clint (and Matt) kept me updated on the status of the repairs. What truly impressed me was the level of communication from the technicians. They documented their work with pictures and videos, which were shared with me to provide clarity on the repairs being made. This level of detail was refreshing, especially since I hadn't visited a garage in a long time. In the end, my Beetle was returned in excellent working condition, and my daughter has been happily driving it around Columbia since. I plan to return to Bernhard Auto Works for regular maintenance on both my Beetle and my other vehicle. A big thank you to Clint, Matt, and the entire team for their outstanding service!

I bought a problem car for my son's first car. Took it here to get the things road worthy not necessarily perfect but road worthy. They took this very seriously and found everything wrong with the car and provided me a detailed list on order of severity. With pictures. Their diagnosing team is amazing! I went in for a wheel alignment. Their staff was friendly, knowledgeable and very thorough. Highly recommend!

Had an oil change - only thing I went in for about two half month ago. They ended up poking around and checking things I didn’t ask for. Afterwards about a month went by my car was leaking oil everywhere. Come to find out when the oil was changed they had over tightened my oil filter up towards the engine housing, causing issues and ended up paying $1300.00 for replacement of my engine cooler housing, Oil filter plus 6Q of oil. Will NEVER take my vehicle back here. I was not happy with the fact I take it in for an oil change and they decide to check other things I didn’t want checked and try getting you to upgrade other issues.

Always excellent and consistent service provided by both the front desk and the garage. We are long term customers and will always go to Columbia Firestone first before going anywhere else for service to our cars.

Finally!! I found a professional auto repair shop that is trustworthy and very knowledgeable, reliable personnel who explained everything upfront and in my emergency they were kind enough to change my flat tire and get me back on the road I’m very impressed with these guys and I will become a long term customer going forward

Bernhard Auto Works was a pleasure to work with, I called 15-20 shops to find a one stop shop. They were able to handle every issue from electrical problems, failing suspension, replacing torn weather stripping, tires, ball joints, tie rods, and a fresh oil change. Not to mention were able to get my steering wheel straight that many shops have failed to do, I could tell on the phone before I even brought the truck in I was going to be good in good hands as they assured they would be able to deal with everything I’ve stated above. I dealt with Clint throughout the entire process and this person goes above and beyond, truly a pleasure to deal with Clint, he doesn’t miss a single detail! If you want to know the root of the problem he will not hold back, it’s like he’s reading from the book of how everything works, can fail to how they fix the issue. All in all 5 stars from me, will be going back to this Shop without a doubt! Great jobs Bernhard. Thanks so much!

I went in for an oil change and some other minor things I knew needed to be completed. To my surprise I was asked to drop off and offered a loaner car at no additional cost so that they could look into what was all needed. Went after hours to pick up. Ryan was very good at explaining everything my car needed. I would definitely recommend Bernhardt for your auto repair
